Pastor Jesse Latta began serving as the pastor of Victory Baptist Church in December 2019. His preaching is rooted in Scripture, with a desire to help people clearly understand God’s Word and apply biblical truth to everyday life.

Pastor Latta’s training for ministry includes a Master of Ministry (M.M.) degree from The Crown College Seminary. He has faithfully served in full-time church ministry since 2007. After college, he served as Youth Director at Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. In 2011, the Lord led him and his family to Haslet, Texas, where he served as Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor until December 2019, when the Lord directed them to Victory Baptist Church.

In addition to preaching, Pastor Latta is actively involved in counseling, discipleship, and encouraging individuals and families throughout the church. He values personal connection and seeks to come alongside others as they grow in their walk with Christ.

His wife, Julie, faithfully supports the ministry in many ways. She is involved in teaching, mentoring, and serving behind the scenes, and her steady presence is a blessing to our church family.

Pastor and Mrs. Latta have three children—Jared, Chase, and Keley—who are active in church life. As a family, the Lattas serve together and are committed to supporting the work of the church.
